LG G2 Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be available in India in Q2

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the LG G2 has only started in South Korea in mid-January, but it may arrive outside the US and Europe earlier than that. According to @LGIndiaTweets, LG has officially announced that the update will start rolling out in India in in the second quarter of 2015

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update will come over-the-air, and your device will notify you about its arrival and ask you to install it. Therefore we recommend to backup your data, perform a factory reset and then download the Lollipop update over a Wi-Fi connection.

The size of the update will be around 1.2GB. If you’re itching to get Android 5.0 on your G2, you can manually trigger the OTA by checking for updates between April and June. It can’t hurt to try, a few dozen times.
