LG G Watch Recovery Mode

The LG G Watch may be positioned as a watch that lets you view notifications from your Android phone β€” but it’s actually a wearable device that has the guts of an Android phone.

Just like Android smartphones, the LG G Watch have a recovery mode installed, perfect for that time you need to wipe data, do a factory reset, back to stock, or even if you need to apply an update manually.

Following is the guide on how to enter into recovery mode on an LG G Watch:

  1. Press the restart button by using something thin and pointy for around 10 seconds, you will see the LG logo on screen
  2. Swipe from the top left-hand corner to the the bottom right-hand corner in one, diagonal swipe. This will bring you to the Fastboot mode
  3. After that ,you should see two arrows at the bottom of this display, pressing the right arrow twice will bring the Recovery list up
  4. Now you can reboot device, Apply Update from ADB, Wipe Data/ Factory reset and Wipe Cache in the recovery mode
