Boost Mobile (Sprint’s prepaid brands) today introduced the LG G Stylo, a new mid-range Android handset that was official in LG’s native South Korea last month. Boost Mobile is now selling the G Stylo for $199.99 – no contract required.

The G Stylo is the newest LG smartphone to have a stylus pen. The handset offers a 5.7-inch 720p display, LTE, a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, 1.5 GB (or 2 GB) of RAM, and a 3000 mAh battery. Unlike T-Mobile’s variant of the G Stylo that’s will be available starting May 20, which has an 13 MP rear camera, the Boost Mobile’s variant comes with an 8 MP rear snapper. It runs Android Lollipop out of the box.

If you’re in the market for a mid-range Android smartphone that supports 4G LTE, the LG G Stylo certainly does fit the bill. The device can be purchased right away from Boost Mobile’s online store.

Update: The G Stylo will be available at Sprint Prepaid on June 7 for for $199.99 without a contract, and Sprint at June 12 for $0 down, then followed by 24 monthly payments of $12, adding up to a total price of $288.
