It’s confirmed from ZDNet Korea that the LG G Pro 2 is going to be launched in South Korea by the end of this month.
A quick glance the specs of the LG G Pro 2 reveals that the phablet is the successor to the LG Optimus G Pro. In addition to the bigger (5.9-inch 1080p Full HD) touchscreen, the LG G Pro 2 sports a 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 13 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, LED flash, and 4K video recording, a 2 MP front camera, 3 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, 4G LTE, HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a 3,200 mAh battery. It will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
The measures of the LG G Pro 2 are 157.9×81.9×8.3 mm, while its weight tips the scale at 172 grams. The handset will be available in titan, white, and silver color scheme.
The company has unveiled a release in the US and Europe sometime during the second quarter of this year (so in April or May).
