LG’s next Firefox OS phone, the Fx0 that first got photographed earlier this month, is now official and has a hands-on video posted to the YouTube, showing it provides a quick look at Firefox OS 2.0.

Like all the other Firefox OS devices that have been unveiled so far, this is a mid-range smartphone. The LG Fx0 has a 4.7-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, LTE connectivity, 8 MP rear camera, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable storage space. It runs Firefox OS 2.0.

Now about that price. LG offer the Fx0 in Japan for $410, at today’s exchange rates. That’s not extremely cheap, is it? LG won’t sold the Fx0 outside Japan, maybe we can see a handset in other parts of the world.

Will the Firefox OS phone enough to sway people away from Android or IOS? Only time will tell, surely.
