The LG Fireweb, which is officially the company’s first Firefox OS-running smartphone, is now being sold in Brazil for BRL449 ($207) for prepaid customers.
A quick look at the specifications of the device shows that the LG Fireweb comes with a 4-inch display of HVGA resolution (480 x 320 pixels). Internally, the device comes with a single-core 1 GHz Qualcomm processor, 4 GB built-in storage plus a microSD card support. In terms of photography, the handset comes with a 5MP autofocus and LED-enabled camera.
The LG Fireweb is currently priced at BRL449 ($207), while on contract it can be yours for BRL129 ($59).
Overall, the design of the phone looks pretty basic, with a plastic exterior as well as a rounded body. Keeping the relatively low cost in mind, though, it seems to be a pretty decent device.
