It seems that the LG enV3 users now can update their phone to the latest firmware directly from LG website. http://mobilephones.us.lge.com/softwaredownload.aspx

LG provides 7 Models: LG Cell phone Software

  1. LX400 – (Sprint)
  2. LX570 – MuziqTM (Sprint)
  3. LX600 – LotusTM (Sprint)
  4. VX9200 – enV3 (Verizon)
  5. VX11000 – enV Touch (Verizon)
  6. AX265 – Banter (Alltel)
  7. UX700 – (Other)



You have to install LGMobile Updater Application before download manual, software or lastest firmware for your phone. Please check up whether your PC can support the following requirement. LG-enV3 info

ARe they going to release any more details on the env touch ? it looks limited !!! I wanted to download extra software for it and there is nothing out there

This no longer works. Verizon had LG pull support for the env3 and env Touch. They no longer appear on the list of supported phones, and you can only get firmware updates through Verizon’s OTA (which is still unimplemented) or in Verizon stores.

Dude. That piece of crap updater cannot connect to the server!!

And when it does, just says failed to download USB update!

It still doesn’t work for ota updates. I am so done with LG. I’m going Blackberry very soon.
