LG Eclypse 4G now available at Bell and Virgin Mobile

LG has just launched a new affordable Android device in Canada today with the introduction of the LG Eclypse 4G. The phone has been surfacing a lot over the past month in press shots, with its specs leaked as well, so it’s no surprise that LG has finally decided to reveal the phone. LG Android Phones

The LG Eclypse 4G is available via two of Canada’s major mobile carriers (Bell and Virgin Mobile). It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and features a 3.5-inch 320×480 touchscreen with slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a single core 1GHz processor, a 5 MP camera with flash and 720p HD video recording, 14.4 Mbps HSPA+ support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 1 GB of built-in storage and microSD card support (with a 4 GB card preinstalled). The LG Eclypse 4G can be bought from Bell here for free if you sign a 3-year contract. Alternatively, you can choose a 2-year contract for $199.95, a year contract for $224.95, or no contract for a reasonable $249.95. LG Cell Phone Previews

Virgin Mobile offers the device for $49.99 with a three-year contract or on the SuperTab. The phone costs $199.99 with prepaid plans, and $249.99 without a contract.
