Yes, it is called USB Mass Storage which should be able to work with the LG Dare.
Plug the phone in (make sure all drivers/software is installed) then go to Settings & Tools then click on tools and then USB Mass Storage. Then click on Computer (or My Computer) on your comp. It is one of the external file storage things…treat it just like a flash drive. LG-Dare info

this only works if you have a micro sd card, which is something i dont have….
