While we don’t know when LG will officially announce the LG CX2 (maybe later this month at MWC 2012 in Barcelona), new images of it have appeared on the web, alongside new details. LG Cell Phone News

The new LG CX2 is just 9.8mm thin and shaved 20 grams off its weight, too. This touch-only handset also features a large HD AH-IPS display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, HSPA (21 Mbps), NFC, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0, and dual 5MP cameras. LG Cell Phone Previews

The new LG CX2 will launch with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). However, an Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update is expected to follow after its launch. The pricing and availability of the handset are still unknown, but if we are lucky enough to see it announced at the MWC at the end of the month, we’ll know more about them shortly.
