LG begins Android 5.1.1 rollout for the G2 in German

The LG G2, which was announced back in August the year before last and released Android 5.0.2 Lollipop in March this year, and now is said to get the Android 5.1.1 update, confirmed by an LG employee from Korea.

There’s no telling what changes are included in the update, though the standard security and bug fixes of 5.1.1 should be part of the package. We’re not expecting too much in the way of user-facing features, and especially not any of the features that come with the Android 5.1.1 update for the G2.

So, have you received the Android 5.1.1 update on your LG G2? Let us know if you have, and do tell us about the differences you notice if you have already updated.
