Today U.S. Cellular announced the LG Banter, which offers a slide-style QWERTY keyboard for easier messaging and a 1.3 megapixel camera.  LG Cell phone news

The U.S. Cellular Banter supports the carrier’s “Your Navigator” app and has access to the Tone Room ringtone shop, Pacman, and U.S. Cellular’s enhanced Caller ID system, City ID. The LG Banter also supports U.S. Cellular’s easyedge services.

Other features are about the same as the LG Banter for Alltel; Bluetooth, music player, and changeable faceplates. U.S. Cellular just made it official with pricing. It is available for $49.95 after mail-in and instant rebates, when purchased with a new two-year contract.
