Lots of good stuff (unannounced features that are very nice) were included. Following is the details about the US Cellular LG Apex Android 2.2 (FroYo) update:

Improved Security and Calendar Functions

  * Default settings changes under Menu > Settings.
  *  LG Socialite application is removed; Now, Twitter(R) and Facebook(R) are updated with the latest version.
  *  Your Navigator Deluxe and Amazon MP3 applications  are updated.

  * Flash(R) is not supported
  * GIF is not supported.

The LG Apex Android 2.2 (FroYo) update isn’t just 2.2, it’s 2.2.2. This means that several of the bugs that other phones have encountered have been fixed in this iteration. It was worth waiting for the stable release to come out.

The LG Apex Android 2.2 (FroYo) update took me about 24 minutes on a 3MB Broadband Connection to complete the update (just in case anyone was wondering).
