LG has announced a new high-range smartphone dubbed the Band Play, which features a 5.0-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, a 1.2GB 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of built-in storage, a 13 MP rear camera with laser auto-focus, a 5 MP front-facing camera, and packs in a 2,300 mAh removable battery.

The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is compatible with the standard 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB2.0, NFC, and LTE connections commonly found in high-range devices. Of course, LG’s Smart Keyboard is also present, along with other LG staples like QuickMemo+ and Gesture Shot.

Black and White versions of LG Band Play will go on sale in the South Korean market for 394,800 KRW (about $356) in the near future. Sadly, the company didn’t say anything about the official release date. There is no word yet on when this specific model will reach in other markets. So stay tuned.
