How to unlock LG Fathom Steps:
- With the slide open, tap Phone, press ##7764726750
- Service Code: ______ displays, enter 6 digit code (default: 000000)
- Tap Service Prg
- Display now shows the following fields on screen (read display from left to right (see screen shot 1 for example): MEID, ESN, MDN, MIN, HOME SID, NAM Name, Security Code
- Tap in MDN field, use DEL (backspace) key on keyboard to removing existing information and enter 10 digit MDN
- Tap in MIN field, use DEL (backspace) on keyboard to removing existing information and enter 10 digit MDN
- Tap in "Home SID" field, use backspace key to remove existing information and enter SID,i.e. 20=CHI, 6=NSE
- Tap Save, tap OK
- Tap OK on right side of screen PROGRAMMING COMPLETE – device will restart automatically."
I did not try any stability tests for the above, so I’m not sure if it will be succeed.

Does anybody know the MDN, MIN and SID number for LG Fathom
No one else can tell MDN, MIN, SID as they are unique secured details associated to CDMA number provided or programmed by your provider. That too if this foreign device Electronic Serial Numbers (ESNs)accepted by your country CDMA providers, if not then unlocking and reprograming ESN is required.
Regarding Unlocking above is only half way as this phone has 3G GSM SLOT for global roaming but sad part is that too needs unlocking, which seems a big pain in ASS!!!
where can I find my MDN, MIN and SID #? Is it on the contract or do I have to contact my provider?
MDN is your cell phone number (10 digit)
Enter your MDN also into MIN slot
SID must be provided by your provider.
what is the service code/how do I find it?
Where is the service code. The default doesn’t work.

SOLUTION FOR GPS ISSUE:
FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT USE GPS,HERE IS THE SOLUTION,ON GPS SETTING CHANGE GPS DATA PORT(DEFAULT IS GDP9) TO COM2(COM PORT 2) AND SAVE
THEN IN PHONE SETTING CHANGE NETWORK TO CDMA AND THEN SELECT CDMA SERVICES AND SELECT GPS AND CLICK GET SETTINGS,THEN SELECT LOCATION ON(DONT SELECT 911) SAVE,AND RESTART NOW UR GPS WORKS
AFTER RESTART IF IT STILL DONT WORK CHECK THE GPS PORT IS STILL GDP9,IF YES THEN CHANGE TO COM 2 AGAIN AND TRY
I THINK IT SOME SOFTWARE BUG OR GPS LOCKED PURPOSEFULLY,NOW UNLOCK IT ANY WAY AND HAVE FUN,
