If you don’t need the 3G connection your LG Xenon, for sure turn it off, the following is the LG Xenon’s factory default Dual Mode and it’s easy to access the menu. LG Phone Problem and Solution

From the standby screen [on your LG Xenon]

1. Select Dialing Button
2. Dial 3845#*500# (you will then be in the engineering menu)
3. Select "Modem Setting"
4. Select "Network Mode"
5. [Select "Network Mode"]  ***
6. Select "2G Only"
