It seems that the LG Optimus 2X camera sound is loud enough to literally fetch the neighbours wondering what the noise is. LG have put security around the video camera sound files, it is impossible to change the files without changing the code. We need to find a way to let it be disabled or at least changed. The camera Menu – Settings – Advanced has no sound disabling option. LG Phone Problem and Solution

So I try this, the modified Camera.apk that is made by djmcnz

• No video camera start sound
• No video camera end sound
• Still camera sounds not affected
• Sound file verification and sound trigger code removed, no code added
