Rooting LG Phoenix Android device may just have been simplified to an almost one click method with GingerBreak app and it’s close to a universal solution for most Android phones. As we don’t have a LG Phoenix with us right now so we can’t test it ourselves, but if you are interested, then here is the method. LG Android Phones

How to Root LG PhoenixSteps:
1) Enable unknown sources.
Problem: The checkbox doesn’t appear in Settings->Application->Development
Solution: Enter the secret menu (dial 3845#*505#); next to last is the option "Unknow Sources Test" (sic). There you can tick the Unknown Sources checkbox.
2) Make sure USB debugging is enabled on your LG Phoenix
– Make sure you have an SD card (formatted and) inserted on your LG Phoenix
3) Download Gingerbreak 1.2 http://www.fileserve.com/file/vDyV6JM
a. Install the APK, the app must be installed on the device and not the SD card.
b. Select Root Phoenix. The exploit could take up to 10 minutes but not any longer.
c. Reboot your LG Phoenix and check if the superuser app is installed.
