So far, there is only V10A can be rooted. So, first of all for rooting you must have an LG Optimus L7 with V10A firmware. You can download the stock rom here. For flashing LG Optimus L7 follow instructions from here.
If now you have V10A firmware without simlock or similar limitations on your LG Optimus L7, then let’s go to root the device.
How to Root LG Optimus L7 Steps:
- Download the Lg_Optimus_L7_Root.zip zip and extract
- Install drivers if not already installed
- Double click Lg Optimus L7 Root.bat
- Wait for phone to fully root
Caution: During reboots your LG Optimus L7 will probably go to charge mode so when phone start to reboot unplug your usb and plug it again when lg logo start to glow red.

When I flash my LG L7 (V10A or V10C, FR BASE OR EU OPEN), my cellphone said “Network locked” : my L7 isn’t unsimlocked. My operator is Free, my L7 has buyed at SFR.
