Like many other Android smartphones, the LG Motion 4G comes with a lot of bloatware loaded on when it’s out of the box. This guide will show you how to remove those apps without harming your device or the carrier getting angry about it.

These can be removed from LG Motion 4G with absolutely no problems!

  • Into Now

  • Music Player 2
  • Music Player 3

  • My Metro
  • Photo Frame
  • Rhapsody
  • Smartshare
  • Social+
  • Sportacular
  • Streetview
  • Task Manager

Warning: Do not uninstall the Google Movies and Google Books apps, this will brick your phone.

I agree. This doesn’t say HOW to uninstall the apps. Uggh.

Ok, I figured it out on my own. From the home screen, tap the = button in the lower right corner.

Select System settings.

Scroll down to Apps and select it.

It defaults to the downloaded apps. It also has Running and All tabs.

To remove an app, select the app and hold your finger on its title. When you release your finger, there are 2 buttons at the top:

Force stop and Uninstall.

If you choose Uninstall, you get a screen stating “This application will be uninstalled.”

Click OK to uninstall. Then OK once the uninstall is finished.

I recommend rebooting (taking out the battery) once you’re done removing all of the applications you want gone.
