How to install fastboot drivers for LG Optimus GT540 Steps: LG Android Phones

  1. First download the drivers from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?98to11h9sdwdg41
  2. Next, extract the folder
  3. Then connect your LG Optimus GT540 to your computer in fastboot mode
  4. Then go to Start–>RIGHT CLICK My Computer–>Properties–>Hardware Tab–>Device Manager
  5. Select the device named ‘Android’ – it should have a question mark logo, double click it and select ‘Reinstall Driver’
  6. Click ‘No Not This Time’, and select next, select ‘Install from a list or specified location’ click next
  7. Click ‘Don’t search, i will choose driver to install’, and then next
  8. Click ‘Have Disk’
  9. In the browse box, browse to the extracted folder, and select the .inf file, click ok
  10. Click ‘Next’
  11. Wait for it to say complete
  12. Reconnect your device and…
  13. Voila! Fastboot works!!!!!

Note: This instructions has been tested on my Windows XP. Why don’t you give it a try yourself now? LG-Optimus info
