hi to prevent update error plz disable the lg modem in device manager , or if still problem persists u can try again with usb debugging enabled. hope u get through.thnx

Mine says that the “phone was not found” what should I do?

Worked fine for me. 5 mins and it was done. Going to test it for a week but looking good so far.

If it says “phone was not found” you need official “lg android usb driver”

If it flashes at android the android logo bootloader leave it for 15 minutes, it will start up.

It’s sitting at the android logo bootloader, but it appears to have been successful.

LG optimus one, koodo up in Canada.

note: Had to do remove the battery and do a hard reset – turn the phone on by holding volume down AND the home key.

Worked great on LG Maximo one (LG P500)
just had to hard reset to pass the stuck android loading screen.. after that, everything is back to normal.
for those who have a diferent carrier than virgin mobile and use 3g, you will have to set your access points from scratch

Thanks for the info, updated and phone is crazy fast! Had to manually enter the Access Point Name(APN)info to get data back, was kinda scared at first but Puerto Ricans are resourceful. LOL, copied the info from my wife’s phone and the data service started right back up, thank God. Make sure to back up your apps, I forgot to and lost some paid apps. I dont understand the statement
“In the place where you have to give path for KDZ file, select the Firmware a.k.a ROM you have downloaded using the link you made for your country specific firmware” what is the meaning of country specific firmware. Will the above in step1 not work?? I just went to the link in step one and downloaded the ‘Open European’ Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread firmware. Is it right that I just have to give this downloaded V20E00.kdz file in STEP6. …..Please help.
