How to Flash / Update LG Optimus G Pro to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat

LG company has just launched the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat to LG Optimus G Pro F240S/L/K in its domestic market.

This article will show you how to manually update the Korean LG Optimus G Pro to the latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat V20C OS.

First we need you to make a full backup before updating.

How to Flash LG Optimus G Pro with a kdz Firmware / ROM:

  1. Install LG Optimus G Pro Usb Driver
  2. Extract KDZ_FW_UPD_EN
  3. Install the B2CAppSetup from folder KDZ_FW_UPD_EN
  4. Turn on “debug mode” in phone, then plug in into computer.
  5. Install msxml.msi from folder KDZ_FW_UPD_EN
  6. Disable antivirus software.
  7. Go to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX, remove all files and folder
  8. Copy all files and folders from LGMOBILEAX that you unzipped to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX
  9. Open your hosts file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts), add
  10. Start http.exe in the shttps folder
  11. Start Windows Enabler and turn it on (system tray!)
  12. Start UpTestEX_mod2_marwin, select your KDZ file. Set emeregency, 3gQCT and press “NORMALL WEB UPGRADE TEST.
  13. Flash will start automatically.

After flashing LG Optimus G Pro reboots automatically.

  1. I try to flash like above but after my phone restart to download mode is stuck at 4%. pls help.

  2. Friend in the middle of the update was an error with the electric power to my residence and the phone hung up, in that it now does not care anymore and do not know how to solve. The screen him this black and I can reinstall the original rom that is 98910b (Brazil) will not fix that.
