Clockworkmod Recovery has been ported to the LG Optimus Black! This comes in from XDA-Member xantaro with instructions on how to get this recovery up and running on your LG Optimus Black.  LG Android Phones

The following has been tested and is working: LG Cell Phone Software

• Backup & Restore
• Wipe data/factory reset
• Wipe cache
• Reboot & Power off
• Install zip from SD-Card
• Partition SD-Card

• Clockworkmod v3.2.0.0 >>DOWNLOAD<<
• LG United Mobile Drivers (Windows) >>DOWNLOAD<< (Needed when installing with MS Windows)

How to install Clockworkmod Recovery on LG Optimus Black:

1. Extract Clockworkmod v3.2.0.0 zip file that you just download to your Local Computer. LG-Optimus info
2. Connect the Phone with USB-Debugging enabled
3. Run The File install_recovery.bat (on Windows Systems) or install_recovery.sh (on Linux Systems)
4. Grant Root Access on the Phone
5. Safely unplug from the PC and reboot your phone.
