LG has officially announced the Optimus L1 II – a brand new Android handset that is part of the refreshed Optimus L family coming with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

The LG Optimus L1 II is an entry-level device. Its features include a 3-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with 1 GHz processor, A 2 megapixel fixed focus rear camera with VGA video recording, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot and a 1,540mAh battery.

The LG Optimus L1 II to begin with will only be available in select markets such as Russia and the Vietnam, Russia and UK, in two color versions: black and white. It will cost 19,900,000 Vietnamese dongs in Vietnam, meaning about €69 or $93, but the device should be eventually available elsewhere.
