Is it legit? Yes go read around the giveaway of the day site. Developers give them their program for a 24 free time period then it is essentially advertised forever. It is actually hard sometimes to remember to catch some of the good deals.

The original LG Versa Theme is crap, teriable color, I hate the yellow and i can’t stand yellow, it is just a mess. I have been trying to find a way to change the theme. I notice with bitpim there is a file that says verizon theme, but I cant find a file where any menu is held under bitpim. If someone has fixed it, please tell me as soon as possible. A good news for LG Versa users that LG has just released its new firmware v07 for the phone. I got this update yesterday and it works great for me without any problems. It was a ton of bug resolves. When I was told that a new firmware was released called V07, I was confused, my phone’s version is V04, why this update is not V05 or V06 but V07…today I get some reasons from howardforums: The jump from v4 to v7, many times if there are a series of smaller updates done, sometimes the updates will not go public as there can be a cost associated with this. And they will wait until there are more fixes before they release it. This, according to why v5-6 were skipped. LG Cell Phone Software

The following are the items which have been fixed in the LG Versa v07 firmware:

Fixed a lock-up issue that sometimes occurred during password input for BREW applications with the virtual keypad
Fixed an issue in the browser where the game module shortcut is displayed when the module is attached
Fixed a reset issue that occurs when a user selects flash contents at weather.com
Fixed an issue where sometimes the control button is not displayed at m.youtube.com
When phone settings are on save to memory card on video..sounds and pics….and you receive a video message and try to save it.. A error pops up saying phone memory full. You have to set save option to phone memory..save video to phone, then transfer video to memory card. instead of just being able to save it to card.
While playing music…you can adjust the volume to make it play louder. It has 2 settings, playback volume and master volume. If you change the option from playback volume to master volume and try to set anything….the phone will freeze up and you will have to take the battery off and put it back in for it to work.
Fixed a lockup issue that sometimes occurred when receiving a video message and picture message simultaneously while running a BREW application.
Versa is unable to authorize with Rhapsody software. Device originally authorized just fine, but is no longer able to sync subscription music and will not authorize at all. Pops an error message "Cannot authorize at this time, please try again later" when attempting to authorize.
In some cases, Voice Command audio transmits through the phone speaker instead of Bluetooth Car Kit’s speaker. Fixed
When adding an event in the Calendar with the device being horizontal and without the keyboard attachment. Whenever you add a space in the subject line it exits the edit screen.
An error message would occur when downloading some music files with Spanish names.
An error message would occur when downloading songs with accented characters in the title.
VZW portal page is not fitted to screen size.

Some people have been asking how to download flash games, well if you are using mozilla Firefox use this add on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3590

well, i didn’t figure this all out by myself, used help from a youtube video.

1. first you have to connect your Verizon LG Versa to your pc and open bitpim. when it asks for which phone chose the vx9100 and it should be fine.(Long Overdue Edit: you can also select the "dare " option for your phone, and the process will be the same, if it doesn’t work then try using vx9100) LG-Versa info

2. click on view>view file systems

3. there should be a secondary window that has a icon that says "/" click on it and it should load a menu.

4.go down to the blue folder tab and click on the plus sign by the folder labeled "flash" and then click on UI

5. Now you will have to choose witch you want to replace, a wallpaper, or the world clock or ez tip calculator. 6A is for replacing wallpapers and 6b is for replacing one of the tools

6a.click on wallpapers. now the numbers are in the order you see them on the phone, so the first one is the bubble and the last one is the one of the dogs, now right click what you want to replace and save it in a file where you wont lose it (in case you want to use the wallpaper again)
6b. now Click on tools, and right click the one you want to replace and save it to a folder in case you want the tool again

7. now take the flash game you want to transfer to your phone and rename it to the name of the wallpaper/tool you just backed up. make sure its named the exact same name that the app you want to replace is (minus the .swf) ( so if you are replacing "wallpaperType1" rename the game to "wallpaperType1", same with replacing the tools, if you want to replace the "worldclock" rename the game to "worldclock")

8. now drop your game(which is named the same as the file you want to replace) into the area where the other wallpapers are… and it should be good!

When I got the Verizon LG Versa, I fell in love with this phone. This is not my first LG touch phone but I have to say it’s the best Verizon LG Phone I have never had. I have reviewed many since joining Verizon about 3 years ago. In my opinion, this phone is great for anyone. LG Cell phone Reviews

The Verizon LG Versa has pretty good response to touch screen, the detachable QWERTY keyboard was great but made it bulky, and you have to have it on to play some games was kind of annoying. It does have a very nice camera, and the overall design was nice. I like the way you can get into certain menus from different screens it make it easy to get what you need without having to go back to the main menu! There is more than one way to start a text message depending on what screen you are on! I also like that you can buy other thing for your phone other than a case cover for it! Like I bought the qwerty keyboard for it which really helps to text (and lets face it…who doesn’t) and a game controller! Over all the phone is pretty good. The only problem I have had is the short battery life, I have had in on since 8:00 this morning, and its 1:45 now, and I have sent about 100 texts + and the battery life is at two bars. Extract the jar file by using the Winzip
Open the ‘META-INF’ folder
You will see a file called ‘MANIFEST.MF’, open it in notepad
Now you must know 2 things to edit the file. First, you must know the original resolution of the game. Ususally this information can be found on the author’s website. Second, you must know the resolution of your screen. Then type the following two lines at the end of the text in the MANIFEST.MF file:
Nokia-MIDlet-Original-Display-Size: www,xxx
Nokia-MIDlet-Target-Display-Size: yyy,zzz
In the example above ‘www,xxx’ represents the original resolution of the game. ‘yyy,zzz’ represents the resolution of your phone’s display.
In the picture example below, the original game resolution is 176×208 and the target resolution of my screen (N80) is 352×416.5.
Now save the changes in the MANIFEST.MF file and drag it back into the META-INF folder in your jar file to overwrite the old one.
That’s it! Now install the jar to your phone and enjoy your full screen game…
