The latest version of the LG Tritan AX840 firmware is V05. Go into phone settings/phone info/version, sw version should end with 05, if it ends with 03 or 04 you need the update. You have to check your local cellphone provider’s store and I guess they will have your phone upgraded and it only takes 20-30 min. LG-Tritan info
After updating my LG Tritan, I feel it was way better than before, more faster!! and better response!! and fixed almost every complaint i had about the phone.

I found the LG Tritan QuickLink Mobile and Phonebook Manager software on Alltel website. Click here to download the latest software for your Tritan and select your operating system, product, and then your device to get started. If you have 7, just use Vista.
