For all you LG Thrill 4G owners, who have been patiently waiting for someone to root the Android device, the wait is finally over! I had my LG Thrill 4G rooted with SuperOneClick app. Worked like a charm! Hope this will help you. LG Android Phones

Here’s a brief guide on how to root the LG Thrill 4G:

  1. Download and extract the SuperOneClick app. You can download it here.
  2. On the phone go to settings > Applications > Development > Turn USB Debugging on also turn on unknown sources.
  3. Connect the LG Thrill 4G to your pc make sure mass storage is turned off once connected wait for the drivers to install.
  4. Run SuperOneClick as admin right click superoneclick run as administrator and click on Root, sometimes it can take a few minutes once it’s done restart the phone now you should have superuser app on the phone.

The LG Thrill 4G, which we recently unboxed, is one of the 3D Smartphone the AT&T Wireless launched with the occasion of this year. In this video we take you on a tour of the hardware on the LG Thrill 4GLG Android Phones

The AT&T LG Thrill 4G sports a 1GHz Texas Instruments OMAP4 processor and a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with 800×480 resolution. There are 512MB of RAM and 8G ROM on board as well as a main camera which takes five-megapixel photos that can record 1080p 2D (30 fps) and 720p 3D (30 fps) video. There’s also a VGA front-facer, supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz 2G and HSDPA 900/1900/2100MHz, HSDPA 1700/2100/850MHz frequencies, digital compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. The battery has been also bumped a little bit from the announced 1500mAh which definitely does a great job in keeping you connected.
