This guide is for anyone who lost my root on an LG Revolution, allowing them to downgrade to the original Stock Rom (V4 or V6). LG Phone Problem and Solution

Please Follow the Instructions Carefully, to ensure success!

Downloads you will need:

• LGNPST: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GQ0P3XM7
• USB driver: http://www.lg.com/us/products/documents/LGAndroidDriver_Ver_1.0_All.exe
• LG Revolution Stock Rom: http://www.lg-phones.org/verizon-lg-revolution-original-firmware-download.html

Let’s begin to downgrade/return the LG Revolution to the Stock: LG Android Phones

1. Download and install LGNPST in the following order if you haven’t already:
   1. LGNPSTv1.2_Store_Version.msi
   2. LGNPST_v1.2_Lab_Version.msi
   3. Components >> LGNPST_Components_Ver_5_0_12_0.msi
   4. GenericModels >> LGNPST_GenericModels_Ver_5_0_10_0.msi
2. Run "Right_Click_Register_DLL.reg"
3. Make a new folder called "Models" in the program’s directory. Default: "C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\"
4. Grab the "VS910.dll" and put it in the "Models" folder.
5. Right Click "VS910.dll" and click on Install. Note: DLL WILL NOT INSTALL UNLESS COMPONENTS AND GENERICMODELS PLUG-INS ARE INSTALLED!
6. Make sure you install it properly, then reboot!
7. Run "LGNPST"
8. Enable USB debugging on your phone. Ensure ‘ask me’ is set under ‘Connect to PC’ setting, and ‘charge only’. Plug in your phone.
9. Then you need to open the bin the little folder icon and chose the downloaded bin file. (select the stock rom you just downloaded) and Click OK
10. Then click on Upgrade
11. This process will take roughly 5-10 minutes so make sure your LG Revolution is plugged in, either to an outlet or your computer.  LG-Revolution info

Verizon and LG have started pushing out the Android 2.3 update to LG Revolution Android smartphone last month. This update is mainly meant to improve the performance and stability of the handset. After updating, your Verizon LG Revolution should be running software version VS910ZV7. LG Android Phones

If you have updated your phone and want to root the newest version VS910ZV7 Android 2.3 Gingerbread on your phone. You come to the right place. Let’s root this thing!! LG-Revolution info

First things first:  Your LG Revolution must be in USB Debugging mode. To turn it on, go to Settings > Applications > Development and check the box. Note that you can only select this while the phone is unplugged. LG Phone Problem and Solution

If you don’t have USB modem drivers for LG Revolution already installed and working, install them from the following link.

After installing the USB modem drivers connect the LG Revolution to the PC. Pull down the notification bar at the top of the phones screen and click on USB Connected. Set the phone to Internet Connection mode.

Extracted the file you downloaded above, find the run.bat file and double click on it to run it.
