Verizon and LG have started pushing out the Android 2.3 update to LG Revolution Android smartphone last month. This update is mainly meant to improve the performance and stability of the handset. First things first: Your LG Revolution must be in USB Debugging mode. To turn it on, go to Settings > Applications > Development and check the box. Note that you can only select this while the phone is unplugged. LG Phone Problem and Solution
If you don’t have USB modem drivers for LG Revolution already installed and working, install them from the following link.
After installing the USB modem drivers connect the LG Revolution to the PC. Pull down the notification bar at the top of the phones screen and click on USB Connected. Set the phone to Internet Connection mode.

Extracted the file you downloaded above, find the run.bat file and double click on it to run it.
