I’ve rooted my LG Revolution with VS910ZV9 firmware by using the following tool and it worked pretty well. SU is installed and is allowing root access to cachemate and RomManager.

The LG Revolution has received a VS910ZV9 software update. It’s still a Gingerbread, but contains the a few bug fixes and enhancements.
You can manually check out the OTA update through Menu > Settings > About phone > System updates > Check New.
Also you can manually update your phone by using LGNPST. Following is the official stock VS910ZV9 ROM / Firmware for the LG Revolution. We will post an instruction about how to do, so be patient.
