I took the freedom to upload the LG Quantum USB driver here, theLG Quantum USB driver is really hard to download, I realize many people are looking for it and I decide to share it here. Enjoy, folks. 

1. Download the LG Quantum usb driver
2. Make sure that the USB cable and LG Quantum are NOT connected to your PC
3. Install the LG Quantum usb driver
4. Do not try to plug the LG Quantum into your PC until you have finished installing the driver and restarted your computer.

This process may take an extra few minutes, but it helps prevent problems and ensure the LG Quantum driver is properly installed. After restarting, the driver will let you transfer files via USB. Simply plug in your LG Quantum and you should be ready to go.

Debranding enables you to get the latest updates (7740 Mango) quicker and hopefully speeds up your LG Quantum too. LG Windows Phone 7

We have attached a quick tutorial to debrand your LG Quantum. The instructions will debrand your LG Quantum handset to the generic firmware, following the steps below:

1. Enable the MFG application by going to the dialer and dialing ##634# then pressing call.  LG Phone Problem and Solution
2. Launch the MFG application and enter 277634#*# when prompted for a password.
3. Select the Engineer Menu item.
4. Select the Other Setting menu item.
5. Select the Edit registry menu item.
6. Set the input boxes on this menu as follows:
• Select ROOT_PATH: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
• Input SUB_PATH: \System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\
• Input KEY: MobileOperator
• Data Type: STRING
7. Select Query and write down the result for re-branding (just in case)
8. To debrand leave the input data field blank, apply the changes.
9. The tool will say fail but it really did set correctly.(you can also use MobileOperator “000-88″ this is what worked for me)
10. Connect to Zune and check for updates.

A few people have asked so here you go, a guide to unlocking your LG Quantum Mango phone from the comfort of your home, and for FREE! ALL credit goes to derausgewanderte over at the XDA forums. LG Windows Phone 7

Warning: Don’t blame me if it destroys your LG Quantum Mango phone, all work under taken at your own risk, however I have tried it myself and it does work, as well as for a lot of people on the other forum. I’ll gladly answer any queries if you want to post them here. LG Phone Problem and Solution

How to Unlock LG Quantum “Mango” Phone Steps:

1. Install the MFG app by dialing: ##634#
2. Open the MFG app. The password is: appmfg#*#
3. Go to Engineer Menu -> Other Settings -> Edit Registry
4. Set your ROOT PATH to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
5. Set your input path to "\Comm\Security\LVMod"
6. Set your input key to "DeveloperUnlockState" and set to DWORD.
7. Leave input data box empty and tap "SET".
8. The output should be 0.
9. Now enter "1" in the inputbox and tap "SET".
10. The output should be 1.
11. Set your input path to "\Software\Microsoft\DeviceReg"
12. Set your input key to "PortalUrlProd" and set to DWORD.
13. Clear the input data box and hit "SET".
14. Output result should be "0".
15. Set your input key to "PortalUrlInt" and set to DWORD.
16. Clear the input data box and hit "SET".
17. Output result should be "0".
18. Set your input path to "\Software\Microsoft\DeviceReg\Install"
19. Set your input key to "MaxUnsignedApp" and set to DWORD.
20. Clear the input data box and hit "SET".
21. The output should be 0.
22. Now enter "2147483647" in the inputbox and tap "SET".
23. Output result should be "2147483647".
