If you don’t need the 3G connection your LG Xenon, for sure turn it off, the following is the LG Xenon’s factory default Dual Mode and it’s easy to access the menu. LG Phone Problem and Solution
From the standby screen [on your LG Xenon]
- Select Dialing Button
- Dial 3845#*500# (you will then be in the engineering menu)
- Select "Modem Setting"
- Select "Network Mode"
- [Select "Network Mode"] ***
- Select "2G Only"

If you have a LG enV Touch, you are undoubtedly familiar with its brower. This is the method to help you remove brower on LG enV Touch, so you will not go online with the brower and not get charged. LG Phone Problem and Solution
You can remove the browser from the LG enV Touch via bitpim and the files would be completely gone from the phone. If you want to get it back, you would have to use bitpim again to reload your backup file. I would not recommend it, try at your own risk!!
