Do you by any chance have any idea about how to change the album covers on LG GW620 Eve/Etna? LG Phone Problem and Solution

Well, I got it to work and the method I found in another forum……….. LG-Eve/Etna info

It turns out that the default music player loads the tag info and if it finds a cover encoded in that info it makes a copy and saves that file in the root of the SD card in a folder called ‘albumthumbs’. These files have a 12 digit number for a file name and no extension. (kinda like the ipod stores its files.) You can copy cover images into this folder but nothing seems to work no matter what you name them.

Have you fed up of the default ringtones and notifications. So far as I know there are merely 14 default tones available for the LG GW620 Eve/Etna. Is it possible to change this setting to a custom ringtone? LG Phone Problem and Solution

It’s so easy. Hook up the LG GW620 Eve/Etna to your pc, and enable mass storage. Make /media/audio/ringtones in the root of the sd card.  LG-Eve/Etna info

Place your ringtones there.

  • /media/audio/notifications is where custom notifications such as SMS alerts, emails, etc
  • /media/audio/alarms is for custom alarm tones.
  • /media/audio/ringtones is for sound files you want to use as ringtones

When done, you may have to reboot your LG GW620 Eve/Etna to see them. The file will show up as whatever is in the tag info not the filename. Have a good day!

Okay guys, here are the LG enV2 Wap Settings for MetroPCS which I pasted from howardforum. However this tutorial I haven’t tried, let me know if it worked! or if you still get problems, thanks. LG Phone Problem and Solution

##PROGRAM9100 (hit send)
password: all zeros

LG enV2 Wap Settings:

Proxy Address: wap.metropcs.NET (for both, no caps)
Proxy Port: 3128 (for both)  LG-enV2 info
leave security port alone, or if you messed it up it should be 0443 i believe.
username: yourtendigitnumber@mymetropcs.COM (no caps)
password: six zeros
homepage: anything you want, try m.yahoo.com
after that all resets you also have to change whats called NAI settings:
back to ##PROGRAM9100 menu, this time go to (4) Data>>>
1. MIP settings >> 8. NAI Setting >>>
okay here, only the SIPs (simple IP) should be changed, the MIPs (multiple IPs) you should edit and leave blank.
so 1 and 2 (SIP NAI and SIP DUN NAI) change them both to yourtendigitnumber@mymetropcs.COM (no caps). 3 and 4 (MIP NAI and MIP DUN NAI) leave blank and save it.
that should do the trick guys, you should get ur PAID FOR, metroWeb working.
