LG has launched its LG Optimus LTE Android smartphone to Germany, where it is called LG Optimus True HD LTE P936. The model number is very close to that of the AT&T-bound LG Nitro HD (P930).
Following is the official kdz V10C firmware for P936. I have flashed this rom on my LG Nitro HD, it works like a charm. Also, this file might be helpful if you have bricked your LG Nitro HD and need to reflash their firmware and maybe for other purposes as well. Just follow the link to download the file!

CAUTION: Any time you flash your phone, you run the risk of bricking your phone. I will not be liable. When flash finished, you will lose root.

I’ve just updated my LG Nitro HD to the latest software version LG-P930-V10j-FEB-26-2012 and tying to root it. I’ve tried superoneclick all versions from 2.3.1 – 2.3.3. With v2.3.1 I got to step #7 and the program hangs just like everyone has said and with the other 2 versions it stopped responding at Starting ADB server.
How can I even root? Is there a way to root? Or that there is no any way at all to root the most recent V10J software? If you have any idea leaving here I would be eternally grateful.

Are you living in the US and use the AT&T LG Nitro as your smartphone of choice? If you are, then you should be able to request the software update straight from that phone. The update obviously doesn’t bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but some enhancements and bug fixes.
The update (software version V10J) reaches your AT&T LG Nitro over-the-air at which point the phone will notify you to download and install it. If you’re impatient, you can always go to Settings > About phone > System updates and manually check if the update is available for you. If it isn’t, wait a few days and it should magically appear.
