Install instructions

1. Install the latest recovery. As of this writing, it is CWMT 6.0.1.1. See other threads in this section for how to obtain and install it.
2. Download the ROM, verify the md5sum, and put it on the root of your sdcard.
3. Download JB 4.1 (not 4.2) gapps from goo.im, verify the md5sum, and put it on the root of your sdcard.
4. Power off your phone.
5. Hold volume-down and power until you see the scary warning screen.
6. Confirm by tapping the power button twice.
7. Make a backup of your current system (use the tar method!)
8. Do a full wipe / factory reset.
9. Install the ROM.
10. Install gapps.
11. Reboot and enjoy.

Hello, to share my lucky find and success I am sharing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich V20c CWM-flashable rom for LG Nitro HD.

How to install the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich V20c CWM-flashable rom:

1. Download: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-XPyjSvDmPTcFB3QkIzR2YxRjg/edit
2. Place on internal SD
3. Reboot to CWM
4. Wipe data/factory reset in CWM
5. Wipe cache
6. Advanced > wipe dalvik, wipe battery stats
7. Install .zip from INTERNAL SD
8. Reboot
9. Pray while loading
10. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich V20c installed successfully

The LG Nitro HD (AT&T’s version of the LG Optimus LTE) is one of the few devices in LG’s Optimus line that hasn’t been updated to Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich. The day has finally come though, as AT&T and LG are now offering the update for the phone. It’s not as easy as an OTA (over-the-air) update, but anyone truly interested in getting ICS on their device should have no trouble updating.

Here you can download the KDZ file follow the download link. The file is about 409MB, and the update should take you about 30 minutes and leave your device info intact though, a back up is suggested.
