A few hours ago the LG L80 was leaked on the Internet that has now proved to be accurate. LG has extended its collection of smartphones by officially announcing the LG L80 in Indonesia. The LG L80 is another handset to join the L series III mid-rangers.
The LG L80 will cost a cool IDR 2.5 million or €155 with a new two year contract, and for your money you get an Android smartphone touting a massive 5-inch WVGA IPS display.
This is powered by the impressive Qualcomm quad core processor that is also found in the LG L80, and clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM. Elsewhere there is 4GB of on board storage that can be expanded by a further 32GB thanks to microSD card support, 5-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash, optional dual-SIM support, 3G with HSPA on SIM1, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio and a 2,540 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
No specific launch dates were given, but the new smartphone will certainly be available to purchase quite soon, in two color versions: black and white.

A photo of LG’s alleged LG L80 Dual has spilled to the net, and we’re guessing LG will be expanding its L series III lineup consisted of three devices – LG L90, L70 and L40, if this rumor is to be trusted.
Hi-Tech, which spilled the image below, suggested the LG L80 will support two SIM cards at once, which means it could be particularly attractive to business travelers or to consumers in emerging markets where more than one person might share a single phone.
The LG L80 Dual allegedly includes a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, a 5-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, a 2,540mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It is not sure whether this would come with single SIM support.
