A few questions you should know before buying the LG Incite, I have done some searching on the net and finally found the answers. LG Phone Problem and solution

1) When u DL something like games, is it best to DL to the memory card except for antivirus? LG-Incite info
Most of the time yes, but some programs must be installed in the phones memory to work correctly

2) When u r not using the Incite phone, it dims.. anyway of shutting it completely off w/o shutting the phone off? plz explain..?
Yes, go to Settings>System>Backlight…. you can change around your settings there

3) someone explain the alarms via wav files cuz I found the files listed when i try to set the alarm but it just will not select them or it will select them but just not play. As u can see I know whwere the file has to be and it as to be wav file but whats the max kilobyte? OKAY i did find out the text message alerts works also if they are wav files and placed in the same folder..
Not sure, I think there is a topic about this

The uninstall processes on LG Incite mobile phone are not complicated, three ways you can choose below according to situation/setup.  LG Phone Problem and solution

1. Uninstall Apps Using ActiveSync LG-Incite info
For Windows XP and below users will want to use the ActiveSync program. You can download ActiveSync 4.5 here.
Once downloaded and installed on your desktop ActiveSync uninstalls are one of the easiest ways to remove unwanted programs, simply follow the directions below:

1. Connect your LG Incite to ActiveSync
2. Click on the "Tools" option
3. Click Add/Remove Programs
4. At this point you’ll see a screen that lists all of your devices programs, each program will have a checkbox to the left of the programs name and all of your programs will have a checkmark located next to their names.
5. Take out the checkmark in each program box you’d like to uninstall.
6. Click "OK"

It’s really that simple, your LG Incite will take a moment to uninstall the unwanted Windows Mobile Apps you chose and then you’re done.

If you are looking for a way to use the LG Incite hooked to a PC as a modem. You come to the right site. I found the easiest way for you to do this. Credit teoami

Connect your LG Incite via USB to your PC. On your PC go to your Network Connections (windows xp) or the equivalent for your platform. Make sure the phone shows up as a Local Area Connection. (it will say Windows Mobile-based Device as the interface) LG Phone Problem and solution
On your LG Incite, go to Start -> Programs -> Internet Sharing
Select USB under PC Connection.
Select MediaNet under Network Connection.
Hit "Connect"
If you connect your phone to the PC using bluetooth, just select "Bluetooth PAN" under PC Connection.
On your PC look at the Status of the LAC and the IP should be a 192.x.x.x address.
