Hi, this LG Dare trick is really interesting and useful. When you are typing a text message in the vertical mode you can hold down the Shift button it will change from ABC (or whatever you are using) to the next input mode. For example, if you are using Word and hold down shift it will change it to Abc. I thought that was pretty cool and useful. LG-Dare info

I happened to find this tip when I was browsing on the LG Dare forum, Hostile who is a member of the forum discovered that there is a easy way to unlock the LG Dare much quicker. If you press the lock key and the up button at the same time, you will unlock your LG Dare instantly without having to press the lock button twice or tapping the screen. You know how sometimes after your LG Dare phone in your pocket you get the BEEP "Say a command"? You can turn it off! go to Settings> Phone settings> Voice commands> CLR key activation OFF. That will make it so hitting the clear key doesn’t activate voice commands, thus eliminating most of the accidental voice commands. LG-Dare info
