Since there isn’t an actual method of reading PDFs on the LG Dare phone, here is a way that has helped me. This does involve having a Google account and using Google Documents. LG-Dare info
You go to Google Docs and upload your PDF. Once it is uploaded, click on the file and it should come up in its own .pdf window. Each of these different files is a separate .jpeg. Right-click each file, save it, and upload it to a picture hosting site. Now, you can simply send that URL to yourself via an AIM message or however you prefer so all you have to do is read the text and go straight to it.
It’s that simple. Hopefully, this is the right section and helps some people out. It’s a quick method for me.

Hi, this LG Dare trick is really interesting and useful. When you are typing a text message in the vertical mode you can hold down the Shift button it will change from ABC (or whatever you are using) to the next input mode. For example, if you are using Word and hold down shift it will change it to Abc. I thought that was pretty cool and useful. LG-Dare info

I happened to find this tip when I was browsing on the LG Dare forum, Hostile who is a member of the forum discovered that there is a easy way to unlock the LG Dare much quicker. If you press the lock key and the up button at the same time, you will unlock your LG Dare instantly without having to press the lock button twice or tapping the screen.
