When I type a word out using “Abc” and my LG Dare will memorize it successfully. But I’ve done that several times and apparently my LG Dare doesn’t like the word “Chiropractor” cuz it won’t memorize it. LG-Dare info
When typing it out with word, it will show as “chipossabuns” on my phone. Fortunately when I hit NEXT once and it should go to “chiropractor”.

According the Verizon store rep I talked to, the LG Dare’s price drop to $179 is permanent. So with the current $50 rebate that puts it at $129. If you apply your NE2 discount you can get the dare for $30…. So I’m sorry to report the LG Dare is not the most expensive phone you can buy right now. However, save your money… the rumor is Verizon is supposed to be unveiling some new models later this month. I’m sure they will have another really expensive phone very soon. LG-Dare info

For anyone who uses BitPim for more than adding ringtones or wallpapers, I’d highly advise making backups of your folders. Should files be deleted, whether by accident or intentionally, the backup files will always be readily available.
From the Main Menu:
- Make sure your LG Dare is connected. Search this site should you be having connection problems
- Open up the Filesystem. It is located on the bottom left menu bar
- Open up the folder til you see all of the available folders
- To backup a folder, right click the folder, and select “Backup Entire Tree”
