1. first you have to connect your LG Dare to your pc and open bitpim. when it asks for which phone chose the Vx9100 and it should be fine.(Long Overdue Edit: you can also select the “dare ” option for your LG Dare, and the process will be the same, if it doesnt work then try using vx9100). 2. click on view>view file systems
3. there should be a secondary window that has a icon that says “/” click on it and it should load a menu.
4.go down to the blue folder tab and click on the plus sign by the folder labeled “flash” and then click on UI
5. Now you will have to choose witch you want to replace, a wallpaper, or the world clock or ez tip calculator. 6A is for replacing wallpapers and 6b is for replacing one of the tools
When you want to remove VZ Navigator from the LG Dare, you could go to “Get It Now,”/Tools on the Go/VZ Navigator, then remove app AND Media Center>Browse and Download>Navigator Option Icon>Remove LG-Dare info
The option icon is to the right of the app and looks like a stylized whee.

First, I really do like the LG Dare. It has had some quirks as the software is upgraded, but getting the latest software from a Verizon store will fix a lot of those problems. Until I just got my phone updated it was restarting randomly and did not always connect when on the internet. Since the upgrade this has not been a problem. LG Cell phone Reviews
Second, the camera on the LG Dare is really good. It is not as good as having a digital camera with you, but it is a phone after all. I actually went on vacation to Chicago last year and forgot my camera at home. I thought I might as well use my phone to try and capture some of the time there. When I got back I was really impressed with the picture quality! Like I said, not like I had a stand-alone camera, but they were good pictures.
