The update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (build number VS93021B) is now available for the Verizon LG Spectrum 2 VS930. If you want to apply the update, you can do so by moseying into Menu > Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for Updates now.

The update is a pretty sizeable 449.9MB so it may take some time to download and install but it will bring benefits such as Google Now, Notification Panel, Alarm Clock and more plus it’s also likely to include some Verizon fixes and changes.

This baseband is made for LG Optimus L7 with V20 firmware. Previously you had to install CM10 on V10k ICS & rooted devices but if you directly install CM10 on V20 JB, then the network won’t work. However, after flashing this baseband, you can install CM10 on V20 and network will work.

Following the steps now:

1. Download and place the file to the root of your SD card
2. Reboot into CWM
3. Wipe Cache and then Wipe Dalvik
4. Install Zip from SD

How to Flash LG Optimus L7 with a kdz file Steps:

1. Download and install the usb driver
2. Download and extract KDZ_FW_UPD_EN.zip
3. Launch the program KDZ_FW_UPD.exe
4. * For an update (Does not delete anything)
   – We connect the phone to PC mode Software LG or PC Suit
   * For a clean installation (It will erase everything, factory reset)
   – Remove the battery to the L7 and while holding the key Vol+ connect the USB to the PC
5. Type: 3GQCT, PhoneMode: DIAG
6. Find the ROM XXX_00.kdz
