Reviews: LG has come up with another touchscreen option to get your fingers working: the LG KF700 sliderphone, which combines a tap-to-control UI and dial-spin control with HSDPA 3G high-speed connectivity.

The slider design gives the KF700 the girth of a sturdy candybar phone, weighing 107g and measuring in all 102 x 51 x14.5mm . Slipping up the screen, the number pad beneath has a conventional layout with well-sized number keys on a flush surface plus call, end and clear buttons.

The KF700 is its alpha-numeric keypad, a feature that customers asked LG to retain because of its familiarity and because it simplifies the process of making phone calls and is excellent for typing text messages

Now that LG have release full details of the KF510 we can see that it’s an attractive  slider device with features that very much put it into the “fashion phone” category.

Since a lot of the KF510′s appeals are its looks, then lets start there. The handset is primarily constructed of metal and glass, with a gradated paint job on the front that gives it a distinctive look. The primary control keys are touch sensitive, with a fairly standard LG numeric keypad underneath. At 10.9mm thick, the LG KF510 is a pretty slim device.

LG Electronics today unveiled the LG Iron Man phone, a limited-edition, 18-karat gold slider modeled after the LG Shine.The LG Iron Man phone was created for a new campaign in partnership with Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios.

The Iron Man edition of the LG Shine is a special phone going only to contest winners, which is a real shame, because this phone is gorgeous. The maroon and gold accents look exactly like you’d expect the Iron Man suit to look in person. The phone is crafted from real 18 karat gold, which puts the material value at $2000, though mere mortals won’t be able to plunk down that kind of change any time soon. Instead, LG is giving the phones away as part of an Iron Man movie promotion.
