The Verizon LG Chocolate Touch comes with a large 3 inch touch screen display with  240 x 400 pixels resolution, a 3.2 megapixels resolution camera, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS and more. LG Cell Phone Reviews

Pros: Amazing music player & sound quality. Better than any MP3 player I have experienced. Dolby equalizer presets are great. Also contains a search field to find specific songs(great for when you have hundreds of songs and want to find a specific one fast). Has a "Join the Band" application where you can play a drum set or piano with a song or pause the song to play your own tunes(cute, but not very useful). FM radio works great, very loud and clear with plenty preset buttons. Reception was better than the radio in my car. Has Song ID that can tell you the name of the song, artist and album but I am almost sure that uses some data. LG-enV touch info

Easy to transfer music with the included usb cable or to add your own custom ringtones and wallpapers via micro sd card. I have XP and it installed everything I needed just by plugging the phone in. I accessed the phones 1GB internal memory through My Computer and put my music in there with no problem.

Thin, stylish design. Not too heavy and not light enough to feel cheap. Made of metal and plastic.

Spacious home screen with drag and drop shortcuts, a lot like a desktop on a computer. Can also use animated wallpapers. Real calendar, clock, notepad widgets.

Fairly customizable; You can put your own custom ringtones on your micro sd card and apply them to your contacts/call/text tones and do the same with your pictures or wallpapers. Choose from 3 different menu fonts but only two themes.

Has proximity sensor so that when you put the phone to your ear it turns off the display, when you pull it away it turns it back on.

When you turn the phone sideways in text, music or browser mode it automatically adjusts to landscape mode thanks to the accelerometer.

Speakerphone is VERY loud and clear and has an easy to access button on left side of the phone for that option as well as an Unlock button, music and camera button.

I love the touch slide up unlock feature. But if you prefer not to fool with the touch unlock just press the unlock button on the side of the phone twice.

Texting is fun with the full qwerty keyboard and usually pretty accurate unless you are going super fast and then it makes some mistakes. You can change the key size to large for fewer mistakes. Also has T9 and various settings for predicting text. I don’t think that any virtual keyboard is going to be as accurate as a hardware keyboard, but it does the job without the bulk of a keyboard. Has PEN mode that lets you draw out the letters using your finger instead of typing them in. It’s a cool feature but I think that is too time consuming and hard to do with a finger. It also has a drawing pad feature that you can draw a message/picture and send it as a picture message.

Last year LG first announced the LG KS660 and we had the opportunity to take a first look at the LG KS660, a touchscreen phone with two SIM card slots, allowing us to use two lines simultaneously with one mobile phone.  LG Cell Phone Reviews

Now LG has offered more information on this phone presents a number of interesting features. It has a 3 inches touch screen with a resolution of 400 × 240 pixels, and incorporates a feature with which we can take handwritten notes while we’re on the phone.

On the main screen we have the ability to add widgets to display, allowing us to see at a glance our calendar, notes, … The LG KS660 has a 5 megapixels resolution camera with LED flash and autofocus.

In addition, the LG KS660 supports television output and a MicroSD card (up to 8GB). One thing annoying me that the phone does not has a Wi-Fi or GPS.

Pros: 3.5mm headphone jack, usb/wall charger included, touch screen very responsive, comes with two backings to swap out, nice music player, great themes.

Cons: Home row menu buttons have ugly colors that you can’t change, phone’s a little slow sometimes.

Summary: Most of the complaints I’ve seen about the LG Chocolate Touch is that it won’t live up to the Droid, Blackberry, etc. That’s because it’s not meant to. This phone does not require a data plan, and is really more along the lines of the original marketing of the chocolate line, which honed in on the music player and kind of a cute, candybar design. LG-Chocolate Touch info

I must say the LG Chocolate Touch is much more attractive in person, esp. without that goofy purple background. The downside is, the phone will always have those ugly primary colored menu buttons, I’m hoping Verizon will provide more options in future software updates. LG Cell Phone Reviews

The texting on the LG Chocolate Touch is a little hard to get used to if you’re used to buttons, but it’s by far the best non-iphone touch phone I’ve ever used. I have quite a few friends who have touch screen phones, and I feel like I have to jab at the screen just to get it to recognize what I’m doing – not with this phone.

Some nice things Verizon included are a 3.5mm headphone jack, so I don’t have to go out and buy a converter just to listen to some music. It also comes with a usb connector that hooks into a wall adapter so you’re good to go.

The interface of the LG Chocolate Touch is quite pretty, and with the theme and type face options, you can really make this phone look nice. The music player is especially good, this thing may just replace my iPod, and I usually hate using phones as mp3 players.

On downfall of this phone, is that since it’s not as powerful as most "smart phones" it’s a little slow sometimes. I notice it when I go into look at my pictures. Any images that are on my micro SD card take about a second a piece to pop up when scrolling through thumbnails, which can take quite a while since they’re going one by one.

I can’t say much for the internet features on this phone, because I don’t pay for the additional data plan.

Overall, I am very impressed with the LG Chocolate Touch. For ages I have sworn I would never get a touch screen phone unless it was an iPhone, but this one really surprised me. I am very happy I decided to go with this phone.

The LG Chocolate Touch can be purchased for about $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.

The LG KF700 Virgo was announced back in February 2008, it looks really nice. The LG KF700 Virgo puts together a inch 262K-color TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 240×480 pixels, 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, a Sliding hardware keypad, FM radio, Stereo Bluetooth 2.1 and more. LG Cell Phone Reviews

The LG KF700 Virgo is easy to use, the scroll wheel, touchscreen & keypad, are good for people who is weak in typing on a touchscreen, the touch screen is great! user friendly operational! The SD memory card slot on the top of the phone is easy to access.

The LG Viewty Smart’s actual dimensions are 108.9 x 56.1 x 12.4 mm (4×2.2×0.5 in.) and the phone weighs 102 g (3.2 oz.), it features include a 3 inch WVGA (800×480) high resolution touchscreen display, an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, GPS, Java and more. LG Cell Phone Reviews

The 8-megapixel camera is accompanied by an LED light. The former doesn’t have a lens cover and the module is almost flush with the chassis, so fingerprint smudges are inevitable. The LG Viewty GC900 Smart is able to capture video up to D1 (720×480) resolution at 30 frames per second. Overall the video quality is average.

LG has added one of its most sensitive touchscreens (capacitive) to the LG Viewty Smart, which makes a big difference. Rather than having to push down on the screen using a finger or stylus, you simply have to stroke it lightly with a finger and it will register it. LG-Viewty Smart info
