Verizon Wireless has today released the Android-powered LG Spectrum 2, a new smartphone to its 4G LTE lineup. Yes, today is the day theLG Spectrum 2 goes on sale today and you can pick yourself one up for only $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate if you sign a new two-year service agreement. Also, if you don’t want to buy the LG Spectrum 2 with an agreement, you’ll have to pay $499.99 for it.
The Verizon’s version of the LG Optimus LTE2 (LG Spectrum 2) features a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor from Qualcomm, a lovely 4.7-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, an 8 megapixel camera on the back with autofocus, LED flash, and 1080p HD video capture and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, a 2150mAh battery and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The LG Spectrum 2 measures 5.31 x 2.69 x 0.36-inches, weighs roughly 141.5 grams.

We have already heard a bit about the LG Nexus 4 but now we have some more pictures of the Android 4.2 monster courtesy of the good folks at EVleaks. This device is a nice improvement for LG’s lineup and we cant wait to see more soon — details below.
The LG Nexus 4 aims to be their answer to the iPhone 5 from Apple. As expected, the new LG-made Nexus 4 smartphone is based on the LG Optimus G. As far as the LG Nexus 4’s specs go, we know that it will be powered by a 4.7 inch HD display, a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The LG Nexus 4 will be released when it’s ready. Hopefully the extra time means a better product out the door.
