LG has confirmed the large LG Vu 3 that has appeared in leaked photos in recent weeks. The LG Vu 3 is a Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 rival a 5.2-inch touchscreen. But unlike Samsung’s supersized phone, the Vu 3 has a 4:3 aspect ratio IPS LCD display, and 1,280 x 960 resolution which results in 307ppi pixel density.
The LG Vu 3 is expected to feature a 13MP camera, a powerful Snapdragon 800 with four Krait 400 CPU cores and Adreno 330 GPU just like the LG G2.
The device will also feature the standard smartphone goodies like WiFi and Bluetooth, as well as LTE-Advanced (up to 150Mbps downlink) and NFC support. When will it be launched? Who knows, but sometime this year probably. As for an unveiling, it wouldn’t be surprising to see LG release it in Q4 this year.
