It looks like the LG Optimus G Pro Android smarthone has stopped by the FCC for some U.S. regulatory approval before perhaps landing at its destination on U.S. wireless carrier AT&T.
The FCC filing lists the device as the LG E980, while the LG Optimus G is the E970. That said, the E980 looks to be the LG Optimus G Pro that could soon be on its way to AT&T.
The LG Optimus G Pro has already made an appearance at the MWC in Barcelona this year, it features a 5.5-inch FHD display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of memory. a 13MP camera, a 3140 mAh removable battery, Android 4.1 and more.
As we previously reported, the LG Optimus G Pro means "Hello" to high end Android action. No word yet on launch date or pricing.
