The LG Rumor Reflex will be released by Sprint on March 11 for $29.99 with a two-year contract after a $50 mail-in rebate, and launched by Boost Mobile on March 29 for $79.99 outright. The handset should become a viable option for the carrier’s customers who won’t have the money to buy the LG Marquee, and neither the LG Optimus Black.

Good news Sprint and Virgin Mobile subscribers, it looks like the LG Optimus Net will be headed you way and will be rebranded as the LG Optimus Elite. The device was originally announced for the Italian and Canadian market (announced back in July of 2011), and now it is apparently on its way to the US via Sprint and Virgin Mobile, probably be available very soon. LG Android Phones

LG Optimus Elite is said to sport a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 800 MHz single-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of built-in storage, microSD card support, NFC, a 5 MP camera with LED flash Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. (

The LG Optimus Elite will also be coming with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 on board, and while there’s no word on whether the device will be getting an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 in the future, it would be hard to believe that LG has no plans to bring ICS onto the device. No word on pricing or availability, but we expect more details to surface over time. LG-Optimus info
