The LG Optimus G is LG’s new flagship Android smartphone. Just announced, we had the chance to play with the phones before launch next week, to bring you a quick review of the new superphone.
The LG Optimus G will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (upgradeable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean), LTE, a 4.7 inch True HD IPS+ display with 1280 x 768 pixels, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, 13MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.

LG seems to be on a mission to flood the market with as many smartphones as possible. The latest member of this crusade is the LG Optimus G E973, which was spotted by androidmx.net.
The LG Optimus G E973 will be a high-range Android smartphone that comes with a 4.7 inch IPS HD display, a second-generation quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, LTE connectivity, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera and a 1.4MP front-facing camera. It’ll also bring a 2,100 mAH battery, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and all sandwiched within a profile that’s only 8mm thick. The phone is likely to be running on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich at the moment, but it will certainly be updated to Jelly Bean at some point.
There is no information available regarding the pricing of this handset, but it would probable be launched in September.

As a reminder, the LG Optimus LTE 2 comes with high-end goodies like an 8-megapixel camera that can take 1080p HD video, 4.7-inch touchscreen, WiFi, HSPA, an array of sensors and so on.
