For new MetroPCS LG Optimus F6 Android owners, rooting is an intimidating process, especially since there has few way to gain root access. I’ve previously covered a way of doing it for the T-Mobile version of the LG Optimus F6 that has the V10B firmware on it. Definitely not a hard task for a first-time rooter.
Today, thanks to the crafty developers at Kingo App, root can be attained with just one click now, and working for the MetroPCS version of the LG Optimus F6, but I haven’t try it on my phone for now.

Google’s LG Nexus 4 owners, here we go! The Android 4.4 “Kit Kat” update has been approved and is now rolling out to the device.
As you can see, the update is a sizable 238MB and build “KRT16S”, but it is indeed Android 4.4 Kitkat. To pull the update head into Settings>About phone>System updates.
Also you can manually update to KRT16S through adb sideload in recovery.

In case you have the TWRP custom recovery installed, you can just copy the Kitkat update firmware to the device, reboot to recovery, and flash directly as you would any other zip (apply update from ADB). You’re done.
