A few weeks ago T-Mobile announced an update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean P76920d for the LG Optimus L9, much to the delight of the handset’s owners everywhere. Unfortunately, it looks like the T-Mobile LG Optimus L9 owners will have to go back to waiting for JB once again, as T-Mobile and LG have put things on hold due to some issues with the update. The following statement can be found in a support document which was released yesterday from the carrier:
Some users who had installed this update complained about apps frequently crashing, battery draining and having difficulties in receiving calls. There’s no word yet on when the update process might get going once again. Obviously we’ll pass along more details as soon as we get them.

A rumor has surfaced from Korean tech site Munhwa.com that LG is going back into the tablet market.
Nearly two years ago, the LG company tried to get into the tablet market with its Optimus Pad, but wasn’t enough to sway consumers. LG is now working on a new tablet and it will probably be out before the end of this year. While the rumor of the new tablet coming from the manufacturer has no specifications.
A guy said at techeye.com that “The Android tablet market is getting crowded, but then again Windows RT is circling the drain, while Windows 8 tablets have yet to catch on.”
So if these rumors do turn out to be accurate, we’ll likely have to wait a little longer to get our new LG tablet.
